If you are a student in one of the Online Degree Programs at SCS or the Law Center, or an Online Nursing Faculty & Staff member, you can request to have your GOCard mailed to you.
Below you will find information on how to request your GOCard to be mailed to you, how to submit your photo for your GOCard and Deposit features.
ONLINE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS - PHOTO SUBMISSION & IDENTITY VERIFICATION
In order to verify your identity, please fill out the “Identity Verification Form” (please use your Georgetown NetID to access) and mail it notarized (must include Notary stamp & seal, if required by your state) back to us: Georgetown University, GOCard Services, Reiss Building , Suite 334, 37th & O Streets, Washington, DC 20057
Your mailing address must mirror the address listed in the Georgetown student system. Before you mail in the "ID verification" form, please log onto MyAccess.georgetown.edu to view or update your permanent address (select the tab labeled “Personal Information”, then select “View/Update Address and Phones” to update your mailing address).
Once you are registered for your program and your data has been entered into the Georgetown system, your GOCard can be produced.
So what is GOCard? The Georgetown University GOCard is your Georgetown One Card and is your one card solution on and off campus. Sure, it is your official ID card, but it also has great added conveniences guaranteed to make your life easier! Please review all the great benefits this card offers.
How and when will I get my GOCard? Once your "Identity Verification Form" (notarized) and your photo has been received, we will mail your GOCard to the address that is listed within the student system.
Is my GOCard activated when it arrives? No, your GOCard will not be active until you activate it at: GOCard.georgetown.edu and select “Activate my GOCard” (on the right hand side). Make sure to use your Georgetown NetID and password.
